Removing the Shipping Bracket

The Media Picker is held in place by a shipping bracket. This bracket must be removed before

the unit is powered-on. Follow the instructions below to remove the shipping bracket.

p Using an 11/32” nutdriver, remove the nut that secures the shipping bracket to the stud

mounted on the left-hand inside wall of the Scalar 218, as shown in the illustration.
