Product Sign-On

Lets you select how the Scalar Library appears to application software. The library can be set

to sign-on as an Exabyte

library. This permits maximum application software

compatibility.

p Use UP or DOWN to select “Y” or “N”. Press ENTER to execute the change.

Product Sign-On default is EXB-480: N.

Off-Line Time

Lets you set the number of minutes the Scalar Library will remain in the Off-Line Mode. If

someone leaves the library in the Off-Line mode, after the pre-set number of minutes the

library will automatically return to the On-Line Mode. This assures that your automatic

backup will be done even if the library has accidentally been left off-line.
